In October, CanCham Vice President Happy Nguyen, who also serves as General Director of GeoComply Vietnam, represented the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam at the Autumn Economic Forum 2026.

Convened by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, co-branded with the World Economic Forum (WEF), and delivered by the Viet Nam Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Viet Nam C4IR), the forum focused on the theme “Collaboration in a New Era.”
The forum brought together leaders and experts to examine how nations and businesses can adapt to global economic shifts, rapid technological advancements, and the green transition. As Vietnam advances its digital transformation goals toward 2030, international partnerships remain pivotal to sustainable growth.
Key sessions at the forum highlighted critical areas for businesses operating in Vietnam:
- Technology Diplomacy for Megacities: Exploring how Ho Chi Minh City can turn international technology partnerships into economic drivers.
- Data Security in the Quantum Era: Addressing emerging challenges in cybersecurity and data protection as digital ecosystems evolve.
The forum provided a valuable platform to connect with key community members, including representatives from the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City, Export Development Canada (EDC), and C+ Consulting & Investment Corporation.
At CanCham Vietnam, we remain dedicated to bringing our members into discussions shaping Vietnam’s economic future and creating opportunities for strategic collaboration between Canada and Vietnam.
