
Recognising Businesses Creating Meaningful Impact
The CanCham Impact Awards 2026 recognise companies that have created meaningful and measurable impact through their business activities in Vietnam.
This year’s Awards celebrate organisations that go beyond business performance to create positive and lasting value for their people, communities, industries, environment, and the wider business ecosystem.
The Awards will be presented during the CanCham Thanksgiving Dinner 2026.
AWARD CATEGORIES
Large Enterprise Category
This category recognises a large organisation that has demonstrated significant and measurable impact through its business activities, initiatives, or leadership.
The impact may relate to areas including:
- Economic and business development
- Innovation and industry advancement
- People and workforce development
- Environmental sustainability
- Community and social impact
- Contribution to the Canada–Vietnam business relationship
SME Category
This category recognises a small or medium-sized enterprise that has demonstrated meaningful impact through its business activities, innovation, and leadership.
The judging process will consider the company’s size and available resources, ensuring that SMEs are assessed fairly based on the impact they have created relative to their scale.
Impact may include:
- Business and economic contribution
- Innovation and entrepreneurship
- Job creation and talent development
- Sustainable business practices
- Community and social impact
- Support for local suppliers and communities
- Contribution to the Canada–Vietnam business ecosystem
WHO CAN APPLY?
Companies applying for the CanCham Impact Award 2026 should:
- Be member of CanCham Vietnam
- Be legally established and operating in Vietnam.
- Demonstrate meaningful impact through their business activities or initiatives.
- Be able to provide examples, evidence or measurable results supporting their submission.
- Submit an application under either the Large Enterprise or SME category.
Companies may apply for one category only.
- HOW WILL THE WINNERS BE SELECTED?
The Judging Process
The CanCham Board of Directors will review all eligible applications.
The CanCham Board of Directors will serve as the judging panel for the CanCham Impact Award 2026 and will review submissions based on the information and supporting evidence provided by each applicant.
Following the review process, the Board will select:
🏆 One winner in the Large Enterprise Category
🏆 One winner in the SME Category
The decision of the CanCham Board of Directors will be final.
CanCham’s Board supports the Chamber’s strategy and direction, making the Board an appropriate body to assess applications based on their contribution and impact within the business community.
JUDGING CRITERIA
Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:

| Impact | Clear evidence of meaningful and positive outcomes |
| Measurable Results | Data, evidence or examples demonstrating the impact created |
| Innovation & Leadership | New approaches, leadership or actions that go beyond business as usual |
| Long-Term Value | The potential for the impact to continue or create lasting value |
| Contribution to the Community | Positive contribution to people, communities, industry or the wider business ecosystem |
For SME applicants:
Impact will be considered in relation to the size, capacity and resources of the company. SMEs will not be expected to demonstrate impact on the same scale as large enterprises.
