Today, as we celebrate Canada Day, we’re reflecting on the incredible memories from Canada Day 2026—a celebration that truly captured the spirit of the Canadian community in Vietnam.
On 28 June 2026, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CanCham) welcomed more than 150 Canadians and friends of Canada to The Deck, Thao Dien, for an unforgettable evening of celebration. Guests enjoyed live music, family-friendly entertainment, Canadian-inspired food and drinks, sweet treats, exciting prize draws, and a special address from our Guest of Honour, H.E. Jim Nickel, Ambassador of Canada to Vietnam.
Canada Day is one of the highlights of the Canadian community calendar in Vietnam. It celebrates not only Canada’s national day but also the enduring friendship, cooperation, and growing partnership between Canada and Vietnam. It was inspiring to see government representatives, business leaders, members of the diplomatic community, educators, families, and friends come together to celebrate this special occasion.
From the moment our guests arrived, the venue was filled with laughter, smiles, and Canadian spirit. Families enjoyed the Kids Zone while friends gathered over delicious Canadian-inspired food and drinks. Guests embraced our World Cup theme with fantastic jerseys and creative outfits, bringing even more energy to the celebration.
From the World Cup Prediction Challenge, live music, magic show, raffle draws, face painting, arts and crafts, balloon artists, soccer games, whisky tasting, maple taffy, cinnamon treats, and our special Canadian-themed cake, every activity helped create unforgettable memories for guests of all ages.
