Yesterday, on the 25th of May 2023, the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam got together and joined a roundtable with representatives from the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation of British Columbia, Canada to discuss Vietnam Trade and Investment.
The meeting was organized to discuss important factors and aspects of investment in Vietnam as well as some major industries that British Columbia is looking to promote for trade and investment, and part of the many activities for the Minister and delegations' first visit to Vietnam.
Joining the meeting, there were representatives from the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation:

- Mr. Fazil Mihlar, Deputy Minister - Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation

- Mr. Rohan Belliappa, Managing Director - British Columbia ASEAN Office
- Ms. An Vuong, Senior Commercial Officer - British Columbia Vietnam Office
as well as
- Ms. Jasmine Wahhab, Senior Trade Commissioner - Consulate General of Canada

As the Board of CanCham Vietnam comprises of experts from many industries ranging from Education to Investment to Legal to Technologies to Real Estate and even Manufacturing etc. they were able to provide lots of feedback on the topic and elaborate the discussion.
The Roundtable took place from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM and concluded with a successful outcome.
