[Announcement] Changes to the Board of Directors of CanCham Vietnam

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (CanCham Vietnam) announces significant changes to its Board of Directors in May 2024. Our Vice President - Mr. Ismael Pili, Secretary - Ms. Sarah Galeski, and Board Member - Ms. Winnie Lam have decided to step down from their respective positions. On behalf of CanCham, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to them for their dedicated service and invaluable contributions.


Stepping into the roles of VP and Secretary are the current Board Members, respectively:

  • Ms. Happy Nguyen (General Director, GeoComply) as Vice President

  • Mr. David Paillé (Head of Branch, CJ Legal Services) as Secretary

We are confident that their leadership will continue to drive CanCham's mission forward with innovation and dedication.


Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Ms. Winnie Lam will remain involved with the Chamber as an Advisor to the Board. Her experience and insights as ex-President will be instrumental in guiding CanCham in its ongoing initiatives.


With the new positions, the new Board of Directors for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam is as follows:


  • Mr. Mike Hebert, Commercial Director at Cognita Schools Vietnam - President

  • Ms. Happy Nguyen, General Director at GeoComply - Vice President

  • Mr. Matthew Mohr, Chief Financial Officer at Sun Life - Treasurer

  • Mr. David Paillé, Head of Branch at CJ Legal Services - Secretary

  • Ms. Elizabeth Nguyen, General Director at St. Johns Packaging - Board Member

  • Mr. Ismael Pili, Head of Institutional Sales at Ho Chi Minh City Securities (HSC) - Board Member

  • Ms. Sarah Galeski, Counsel at Tilleke & Gibbins - Board Member

  • Ms. Venice Chan Chief Integration & Transformation Officer at Manulife - Board Member
