This month's speakers are:

• Matthew Smith, CFA, Head of Research – Yuanta Securities

Based in HCMC, Matt has been leading the institutional research team at Yuanta Securities Vietnam since 2018. Born and raised in Massachusetts (Canada’s 11th province), he has been wandering around Asia since 1995. Prior to moving to Vietnam, Matt spent two decades as a financial analyst covering financial sector stocks in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and China. He is a CFA Charterholder and has a Master of Finance from INSEAD.

• Devendra Joshi, Chief Strategic Officer – Sovico Group

Devendra Joshi recently joined Sovico Group as Chief Strategy Officer. He has more than 15 years of experience in formulating investment strategies and advising global institutional investors on emerging markets outlook & portfolio allocation. Before joining Sovico, Dev worked with HSBC as Asian Equity Strategist and was based in Hong Kong. He is a certified sustainability leader from Cambridge University and holds a master's degree in finance.
