About the Forum

The Canada–Viet Nam Forum on Economic Resilience and CPTPP–EU Linkages is a high-level policy and business dialogue taking place alongside the CPTPP Senior Officials Meeting (SOM 3).

Co-organized by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam (MOIT), the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV), and the Embassy of Canada to Viet Nam, the Forum will bring together senior policymakers, academics, trade experts, and business leaders to explore opportunities for strengthening economic resilience through deeper international cooperation.

The discussions will focus on the evolving global trade landscape, strategic linkages between the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and European trade frameworks, and practical approaches to enhancing supply chain resilience, digital trade, investment facilitation, and regulatory cooperation.
