Manulife Vietnam has announced its new mission and bold ambition, affirming its strong commitment to the Vietnamese market and marking a new journey after 20 years in the country. Manulife Vietnam is helping people make easier decisions so that they can live better, and embarking on a transformation journey to be the digital, customer-centric market leader.

Manulife Vietnam is committed to fulfilling its new mission by providing customers with right solutions and customer-based advisory services, helping people make easier decisions for a better life. Manulife Vietnam will soon host customer engagement activities in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to deliver intuitive experience of the customer-based services.

“We believe that we need to build on our success today by continuously evolving ourselves and putting customers at the center of our business,” said Kim Fleming, CEO Manulife Vietnam. “That’s the only path to success because customers are the ones in charge. Our new mission – ‘Decisions made easier. Lives made better’ – is our North Star. It guides everything we do and helps us focus on serving customers better, and deliver on our ambition to be the most digital, customer-centric global company in our industry,” he added.

Manulife Vietnam has been investing significantly in building platforms over the past two years to prepare for its new mission, starting by understanding customers’ needs. Manulife Vietnam pioneered applying the NPS system and established a Customer Experience team, who listen to customer feedback and address their pain points. The Company is also simplifying its processes and procedures and developing digital tools to deliver simplicity and convenience to customers.

Supporting these changes, Manulife Vietnam is investing in training to upskill and professionalize its employees and distribution force. It has more than 30,000 professional agents, nearly 1,000 of whom are MDRT members – the largest of any company in Vietnam. The Company is developing digital tools to connect its agency force with its entire ecosystem to provide customers with fast and professional services in digital age.

Manulife Vietnam is also a leading company in terms of bancassurance through successful co-operation with top banks in Vietnam. A powerful force of professional financial advisors and managers provide flexible financial product packages for customers nationwide.

This year, Manulife Vietnam was again awarded the LOMA Educational Achievement Award (EAA) for Asia Pacific Regional Category,  recognizing the professionalism of its team of more than 800 employees. It is a prestigious award granted by the Life Office Management Association, one of the largest trade associations in the U.S. insurance industry, to recognize training programs of financial and insurance corporations all over the world.
