Marcel Laneville, Ex-Officio Member
Mr. Laneville joined the Canadian federal public service in 1987, and Department of External Affairs and International Trade in 1988. He has had headquarter assignments in information management, defence and aerospace programs and the SAGIT secretariat (Sectoral Advisory Groups on International Trade), as well as deputy director assignments in the International Business Opportunities Centre, the Korea and Oceania division, the Canadian Foreign Service Institute, the Consultations and Liaison division, and the Middle East and North Africa Commercial Relations division. His previous international assignments were in Taipei and Seoul. He holds an honours degree in Commerce (Finance) from the University of Ottawa, and a graduate certificate in Global Business from the FKI International Management Institute in Seoul, Korea.
